ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sheryl's life-long passion for oil painting began in her grandfather's Montreal studio. She studied Fine Arts History at Concordia University and oil painting under Robert S. Hyndman at the Ottawa School of Art, including Plein Air studies in the Gatineau region of Quebec. She is an executive member of the South Surrey & White Rock Art Society, and is the coordinator of their Plein Air Group, and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
